COSI Academy is a career exploration program for for high school students (9th-12th grade) considering science, technology, engineering, math, and health careers. Our students have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals through site visits to local science-based corporations, organizations, and universities, guest speakers, and hands-on activities.
COSI Academy is organized in three cohorts: Engineering, Biotechnology, and Health & Medicine. You can apply for one or more cohorts. COSI Academy sessions happen on Saturdays, usually from 10 am to 4 pm. Alternative times may be required for field trips.
Fees for each cohort are $100 for COSI members or $110 for non-members. The fee covers all field trip costs, lunch for the chosen cohort sessions and program supplies. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. You can submit your request with your application form.
